Introduction to Midstream

 

This program focuses on the processes of Gathering, Transportation, Storage and Trading.

 

Who Should Attend:

 

Employees of exploration and production companies who have financial responsibility for hydrocarbon production and sales.  Also those who perform the accounting functions for marketing, transportation and midstream operations and employees of audit firms who do revenue and midstream audits. 

 

Prerequisites:  None

 

Upon Completion of the Program, Participants Will:

 

·         Gain a working knowledge of what happens to both the product and the money after the hydrocarbon is produced

·         Understand the operations of the marketing and trading departments of an E&P company

·        Understand the differences and similarities of the financial and physical handling of oil versus natural gas
